Make cross-border payments with forex

From 10 September 2024, cross-border payments to banks in the Common Monetary Area (CMA) countries (Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini and Lesotho), will need to be captured and processed on the app and online banking using the forex feature.

What's changing?

More secure international transactions

FNB Namibia will no longer use electronic funds transfer (EFT) channels to send and receive payments. This change will result in safer and more efficient cross-border financial transactions.

How it works

Make global payments

 

Too make a payment to South Africa or Eswatini, visit the Forex tab on the FNB App or online banking and select Global payments.
